- Oculus quest beat saber latency. Today I finally got the option to enable Air Link on my Quest 2. I'm talking Expert+ without "the best" wireless set-ups (like being less than 1ft away from a Wifi6 router). In order for VR to still look fine to you, this latency needs to be predicted forward by the system for the head and controller tracking. My quest 3 ran great over airlink day 1, playing beat saber and stuff, but now it's chugging and struggling like crazy. It could be that VD or Air Link are not displaying the correct latency numbers. For me doing these steps increases the performance from 30-50 fps with extreme stuttering to stable 90fps. Looking at the numbers the latency from Air Link is higher, but it feels much better than Virtual Desktop for some reason.
