Pull off the trim panel - it snaps in place, disconnect a few wiring plugs from the trim panel, remove 4 screws that hold the radio in place, pull out radio, unplug the wiring harness (s) from the rear of the radio and antenna, and then the reverse to install the new one. The assembly I used only had about 2mm of space on the barrel, which required folding and flexing the rubber boot to make it fit.
